Dear P.A.W.S. Families, I hope you are safe and warm inside today during this snow day. We are having quite a New England winter! Please read the PAWS updates below and feel free to reach out with any questions you may have. Parking at PAWS: Handicap Parking Spaces: It has been brought to my attention that cars are using the dedicated handicap parking spaces during drop off and pick up times.  Please note that only cars with the appropriate handicap placard should be using the identified handicap parking spaces.  Please share this important parking information with any family members or childcare providers responsible for bringing your child to and from school.  Respectfully, we request that all drivers pay particular attention to ensuring that the handicap parking spaces remain open for the children, families and staff who need them. Please do not park in the handicap spaces unless you have the appropriate placard. Auction Parking Spaces: Also, please be mindful of the first two parking spaces at the front of the center row of parking spaces.  These are the dedicated AUCTION WINNER PARKING spaces and are to remain open for the families who have purchased these spots at the school auction.  If you enjoy the convenience of parking in these preferred spots, please be sure to bid on the space at our annual auction in March. Please do not park in the auction winner spots unless you are the auction parking spot winner. PAWS Kindergarten Registration: A reminder to those parents with children moving on to kindergarten next year: “Kindergarten Round-Up” will take place for PAWS students at PAWS on Wednesday, February 4, 2015 from 10AM-1PM. Please bring registration forms and required documents to the Round-Up on or before February 4. For more information, look online at  http://www.wellesley.k12.ma.us/district/student-registration-enrollment-and-school-assignment-info/pages/kindergarten-registration- Winter Carnival: The PAWS PTO is sponsoring a Winter Carnival for our PAWS families on Sunday, February 8th, 1-2:30PM at Fisk Elementary School’s gymnasium. Come meet other PAWS families, dance and sing with Ken the Music Man, play games, do crafts and run around!  This event is free of charge for PAWS families. Valentine’s Day: We invite all students at PAWS to participate in the sharing of friendship cards and Valentine cards during the week of February 9-13.  Each classroom will be sending information home explaining the Valentine’s Day exchange at the preschool. If you have questions, please reach out to your child’s classroom teacher. Thank you and stay warm, Rebecca Zieminski Director of Early Childhood
