Dear PAWS Families, The School Facilities Committee has decided to push back its community forum scheduled for Wednesday evening, to avoid conflicting with the visiting hours for 16-year old Wellesley resident Casey Dunne, who passed away unexpectedly on Friday. The new date to discuss the Hardy, Hunnewell and Upham recommendations with the community is Wednesday, October 21 at 7 p.m. in the Great Hall at Town Hall. The SFC apologizes for any confusion that results from this latest change. However, given the expected high demand for parking near the George F. Doherty & Sons funeral home, the committee opted not to host a community meeting next door. Members of the SFC also wish to extend their condolences to the Dunne family. The SFC expects to be able to present additional information at the October 21 meeting, in response to requests from the Hardy community. PAWS Updates: Early Dismissal Day Tuesday, November 3, 2015 is an early dismissal day for parent/teacher conferences. All PAWS preschool classes will dismiss at 11:20 AM on 11/3/15. Parent/Teacher Conferences Classroom teachers will connect with each family to schedule each parent/teacher conference. Please look for more information from your child’s teacher. Spirit Day PAWS students are invited to participate in a Spirit Day on Tuesday, October 27, 2015. All PAWS faculty, staff and students are invited to wear something ORANGE for the Spirit Day if they would like to. It is not a requirement, but it is a fun option for anyone who would like to participate. Halloween The students at PAWS do not dress up for Halloween at school.
