Dear P.A.W.S. Families,
Happy Vacation! I hope you all enjoy next week during February Vacation and find some time for fun! I will be at P.A.W.S. on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday working on our 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten project! If you or someone you know has a few hours to donate to this big P.A.W.S. project, please click on this LINK for more information about how you can help. We will be reading, sorting, and organizing approximately two thousand books!
February Family Fun
If you are looking for ideas for fun during vacation week, you might look at THIS article of 50 Free Activities for Kids. The article ends by saying, “It’s likely that half (or more) of the items on this list won’t appeal to you – and that’s completely expected, as every family is a little different. Maybe you will find five or ten activities that you can do with your family that everyone will enjoy!”
The Mass Audubon Society has activities scheduled in different locations throughout the week.
If you’d like to go to a museum, you might check in at the Wellesley Library to see if they have a Museum Pass you can use for free or discounted admission! Massachusetts has a website of places you might want to visit during February Vacation Week and Mommypoppins.com usually keeps a list of updated options, too.
You might also want to check out the Wellesley Public Library’s website for information about special events next week and other free resources like story time:
