Dear Families:

I hope this finds all of you well.  Who can believe that it is already June and the school year is coming to a close?  You have all been working so hard to balance the needs of all your family members.  Kudos to each of you.

As we head into summer, I am sending to you one more simple tip that will go a long way in supporting your child’s social emotional development.

5 Steps for Brain Building:  Serve and Return

This  six minute video covers five easy steps to incorporate into your daily interactions with your children.   Not only does it foster strong brains for developing language and understanding, but it also builds the important social emotional skills of identifying feelings and learning to manage impulses.  And very importantly, it strengthens the emotional connection with your children!

Feel free to reach out with any questions or feedback.  I am looking forward to seeing each of you, hopefully, in the near future.

Stay well!

Terry
