Dear PAWS Families,
It was a pleasure to have the classrooms filled with little learners this week! We hope each family is getting used to your new school routines. It can take some time to get into a new groove, and if you need any help with the transition from the summer home routine to the autumn school routine, please feel free to reach out to your child’s teacher, to our school psychologist Devon Carleton or to me and we will gladly partner with you to support a successful transition into school.
Back to School Night – Save the Dates!
Each year parents/caregivers are welcomed into the school to learn about the curriculum, standards and skills their children will be learning throughout the school year. Back to School Night provides you with a special in depth view into your child’s preschool learning experiences. We have two different back to school nights for the two different campuses.
PAWS @ Fiske Back-To-School Night
- Wednesday, Sept. 14th – 6:00-7:00pm for PK6, PK7, PK9
PAWS @ PAWS Back-To-School Night
- Wednesday, Sept. 28th – 6:00-7:00pm for PK1, PK2, PK3, PK4, PK5, PK8
Please save the dates, get a sitter and plan to come to PAWS for Back-To-School Night. This evening’s event is just for the adults. For your planning purposes, the teachers will conduct their presentation from 6:15-6:45pm. The fifteen minutes before and after the presentation provide you with the opportunity to explore the classroom and meet other parents from your child’s class.

Thank you to our wonderful PAWS PTO for providing the faculty with a lovely Linden Luncheon and a warm welcome back to school last week! The staff really enjoyed their delicious food from the Linden Store.
Thank you to my mother-in-law Sandra Zieminski for her donations of the asters, mums and pumpkins that are adding color and beauty to the PAWS walkway! It will be such fun to watch the plants blossom over the next week or so!
