Dear PAWS Families,
The children are enjoying the many gifts of the season: the crisp, fall air, colorful leaves, observing bugs and birds, scooping out pumpkins, and enjoying learning with many fall themed activities in class. I hope you all have time to enjoy the New England fall weather this weekend!
Parent/Teacher Conferences – Please remember that Tuesday, November 1st is a half day of school due to the parent/teacher conferences.
Early Release PreK-5 Parent Conf: pick up at 11:30 am and Puppy Class will be picked up at 11:15 am.
Parent teacher conferences are Nov. 1 & 2. You may come into the school for an in person conference or opt to have your conference via Zoom. Reach out to your child’s classroom teacher to make an appointment.
Spirit Day
We will be celebrating our monthly Spirit Day Color Day on Monday, October 31, 2022 and everyone is invited to wear something ORANGE.
Reminder – Halloween at PAWS – No Costumes
Each year at Halloween, we respectfully ask that our PAWS students leave their Halloween costumes at home and save them for events outside of school. We understand that for some families the tradition of dressing up at Halloween is a fun and exciting event, but in order for us to honor and respect our youngest learners at PAWS, we know that not all of our students are able to understand or accept the change in the way everyone would look in costume. We always strive to make sure that the learning environment at PAWS is safe for every student, and at Halloween that means that your child DOES NOT wear a costume to school.
Extra Clothes
Now that the cooler weather is coming our way, please be sure the extra set of clothes that your child has at school are appropriate for the cooler temperatures.

Thank you to the Crowley family for providing the staff with a beautiful fall themed charcuterie board for the staff. The beautiful presentation and thoughtfully written note that accompanied the assortment of goodies was appreciated by all!
