Dear PAWS Families,

We are grateful for each day we are in school with the children guiding their learning and supporting their growth and development of skills. And, we thank you for your diligence in keeping your children home if they are not feeling well or if they show any symptoms of being ill.

Please note that Tea With ‘Becca is being moved to next Thursday, December 16th from 1:00pm-2:00pm.  I hope you will join me for an afternoon of touching base and connecting with other PAWS parents.

Helping Hands
Thank you to all of our families who have donated to the PAWS Helping Hands Project this year!! Your generosity has been heart warming and very kind!  If you have been thinking about helping and haven’t checked out the sign-up sheet yet, there are still several openings needing attention. We have plenty of wrapping paper, scissors and tape to give each family.  Thank you for your kind donations!  I can already see that the holiday season will feel a bit brighter and warmer with the sweaters, pants, socks, toys and special items that have been donated so far.

Tea with ‘Becca – a Space for Conversation, Connection, and Questions

December 16, 2021 – 1:00pm-2:00pm – Join me via Zoom, along with other PAWS parents, to talk about preschool topics that are important to you. A zoom link to join the meeting will be sent separately prior to the meeting.

Thank you!

Thank you to the Williams Family for supporting the preschool staff snacks last week! Thank you to the Katz Family for the staff treats of donuts this week! The two boxes of speciality donuts were enjoyed along with the seltzer! Thank you!

Reminders:

  • The second half of tuition is due on January 1, 2022. Please reach out to the PAWS office if you have any questions or need assistance. Thank you for your attention to ensuring your bill is paid on time.

PAWS Donations

At this time of year we are sometimes asked how to make donations to support the special programming PAWS.  There are several ways you can make tax deductible donations.  You can write a check out to PAWS Preschool or to Wellesley Public Schools and in the memo section be sure to specify: for PAWS general use or for PAWS tuition assistance fund or for PAWS______ (and state what specific use you would like your donation to be used for: for instance for classroom teacher to purchase special items for the classroom) or make a donation to the PAWS PTO to support school activities. If your job offers gift matching, that will increase your donation to PAWS! Reach out with any questions and thank you!

Thank you for your ongoing support and positive contributions to PAWS and the PAWS community!  Wishing you a wonderful week ahead.

Best,

‘Becca Z.
