Dear Bates,
With the rain this morning, I’d like to remind you of the routine for indoor arrival. Students may enter through the front door and proceed into the gym (K-grade 2) or cafeteria (gr 3-5). Adults will be on hand to escort children to these locations. An adult will also supervise the back door to allow students to enter.
In addition, I’d like to ask your attention to a few arrival and departure procedures for the adults:

Due to the number of buses at Bates this year, cars in the car line should only use the car line loop. The bus lane is for buses only this year.

Cars should not pass in the front loop. Please be patient and wait for the line to move forward.

When exiting the front loop, please turn right on Elmwood. This will help the car line to move efficiently.
