Dear Bates Families,
There is a lot of excitement in the building on the eve of the Bates Pumpkin Fair! A heartfelt thank you to all of the many volunteers who are working so hard to make tomorrow a big success.
Here are several important updates and upcoming dates to keep on your radar:
School Grounds Closed: Wednesday, October 7 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM
On Wednesday, October 7 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, Bates faculty and staff will take part in our annual safety training with the Wellesley Police Department. This comprehensive training ensures that all adults in our building are prepared to respond effectively in the event of an emergency.
Please note that during this hour, both playgrounds and the school building will be closed.
Parent-Teacher Conferences & Sign-Ups
Fall parent-teacher conferences are about three weeks away. We look forward to connecting with you to celebrate your child’s learning and growth so far this year.
- Sign-Up Email: On Wednesday, October 7 at 11:00 AM, I will send an email to families containing the links to sign up for a conference with your child’s teacher.
- Early Dismissal: Please note that there will be an early dismissal on Thursday, November 5 to accommodate conferences.
Thank you for your continued partnership and support!
Warmly,
Toni Jolley
