Dear Hunnewell,
Thank you to Mr. Ligon and the many parent volunteers who made our field day a huge success yesterday! The warm temperature made the sponge relay race a huge hit!
I also want to thank Principal Theo Orfanos and Assistant Principal Evan Orfanos for allowing me to take the day off to enjoy field day!
Tomorrow the fun continues with The Hunnewell Carnival, which will get underway right after school. Note the following guidelines:

All students will be dismissed from their usual locations. Please update Pick-Up Patrol with change of dismissal plans as early as possible!

Please do not park along Cameron Street until after 3:30! The buses, vans and cars will be loaded in the layby area.

There is no place to store backpacks, so please make sure they get stowed in cars before entering the carnival.
The Hunnewell Dedication will take place on Saturday, May 18 @10:00am followed by building tours between 11:00am and 2:00pm. Redistricted families are welcome to tour the building and join up with Hunnewell families on the playground from noon to 2:00pm. The weather looks like it is going to cooperate with all of these celebrations!
