Dear Hunnewell,
Next week will be a short week with the Monday holiday! Our fifth graders will be at Hale on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Otherwise, we have a pretty quiet week.
Mr. Dees will be meeting with Kristen Stacy, K-5 Elementary Special Education Director, members of the TLC team, and myself next week to learn about the TLC program, and we are also in the process of setting up visits with classroom teachers and students to make sure the transition can be as smooth as possible for everyone in the community. I know Mr. Dees was able to meet with new families from Sprague and Fiske this past Saturday, and he attended a recent PTO meeting and our Kindergarten Orientation. I thank Mr. Dees for finding time to come to Hunnewell, as I know that he is extremely busy preparing for Upham’s closing.
