Dear P.A.W.S. Parents/Guardians,

Friday was the last day of school for students, yesterday was the last day for staff, and today Isabel and I are working in a very quiet building! There is still so much work to be done to close out the school year, but I have taken a moment to reflect on our preschool year and wish to extend a heartfelt thank you to the incredible families of P.A.W.S. for another wonderful year! This has been a busy year of supporting play, learning, sharing, and caring!  It has been an amazing year of growth for our students at P.A.W.S. as well as a year of growing partnerships with families!

Thank you to the families who shared their insight and comments in the NAEYC Family Feedback Survey!  With your participation, we succeeded in having over 50% of the P.A.W.S. families answer the survey. Thank you to the 68 of you who participated!  Thank you for the concrete examples and suggestions that you offered. We are going over the results of the survey, we are reading each comment carefully, and we will take your input into consideration as we move forward to make the experiences for children and families even better in the future. We are also putting the survey information together to share with you in the near future, so you can see the results and feedback we received.

Please continue to send information about the camps, activities and resources your family enjoys during the summer!  We are still interested in compiling a resource guide (including websites and/or links) to share with all P.A.W.S. families and your first-hand input will be highly valuable and needed!  Below are a few resources for you to begin to explore. We are not endorsing any one program, these are simply some resources and links you might find useful.
