Dear P.A.W.S. Families,

January seems to have flown by.  It is amazing to think February begins next week!  We continue to be grateful for each and every day that we are in school with our students!  Thank you for all you are doing to follow the health and safety guidelines of social distancing, for following the Massachusetts Travel Order COVID-19 Travel Order | Mass.gov (https://www.mass.gov/info-details/covid-19-travel-order) and for completing the Massachusetts Travel Form (https://www.mass.gov/forms/massachusetts-travel-form) prior to arrival and for continuing to wear your masks, wash hands and for keeping your child at home when they are not feeling well.  We are still all in this together and each of us doing our part helps to keep all of our families, faculty and staff safe.

Preschool Report Cards

Today your child’s classroom teacher sent you an email with your child’s Preschool Report Card.  Once you receive the email with the report card, please send an email back to your child’s teacher letting her know you received it.  This will serve as a digital signature that you have received and read your child’s Preschool Report Card.

Each family received the Preschool Report Card Rubric which we hope will help to understand the letter codes on the report card.  Please remember the skills listed on the report card are the end of the year grade level expectations and standards.

M = Meeting the standard consistently and independently.

P = Progressing towards meeting the standard.

B = Beginning to progress towards meeting the standard.

N = Not yet demonstrating progress towards meeting the standard

*An asterisk by the skill/standard indicates that it has not been assessed during this particular term because the unit is taught in the second half of the school year.

Reach out with any questions.

Thank You
