June 13, 2022
Dear PAWS Families,
Please be aware that this Wednesday, June 15, 2022, the Fiske Elementary School will be hosting a special assembly for the elementary school children. This may create some additional traffic congestion at morning arrival on Wednesday. Please plan accordingly for your schedule, and exercise extra patience and calming techniques to help keep yourself regulated and aware of your child and your surroundings.
If your child made a tie-dye shirt last week, the shirt has been washed and is ready to wear on either Thursday or Friday this week (and if your child comes to PAWS on both days, you may want to check with your child’s classroom teacher as to which day their class will be wearing tie-dye). If your child is doing tie-dye this week, we will launder their shirt and have it ready to wear for Thursday/Friday!
A Note From: Wellesley Public Schools Department of Nursing Services
June 13, 2022
Permission for medication administration automatically expires at the end of the 21/22 school year for all medications.
Please remember to pick up your child’s medication by Tuesday, June 21, 2022 (or your child’s last day of school, whichever comes later). Medication, which has not been picked up, will be discarded on Thursday, June 23, 2022.
To ensure a smooth transition in the 22/23 school year, I have enclosed the required paperwork for medication administration. The Medication Authorization Form may also be downloaded from the school website:
If your student will need medication, including Epipens and inhalers, please have the form completed and signed by your student’s healthcare provider and yourself.
In the fall, please bring the signed forms and medication in the original container to the nursing office.
As always, please feel free to call with any questions or concerns.
