Dear P.A.W.S. Families,
We are so excited to meet you all next week and welcome you to a new school year at PAWS during our visit days and orientation! We encourage you to start getting into your school routine in the upcoming week, with establishing a regular bedtime routine and practicing early wake-up times, if you have anyone who needs support with their morning routine. You might like to start to brainstorm Healthy Lunch Ideas and snack ideas that you and your preschooler can pack together as well. As always, please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions that you may have. We are happy to help.
Reminder of the PAWS Orientation and Visit Day Schedule Including the Playground Meet and Greet Time:
- Wednesday, August 30th – 9:30-11:45am for PK1.2, PK1.3, PK1.5, and PK2
- Thursday, August 31st – 8:45-10:00am for PK3 and PK4
- -10:30-11:45am for PK8 and PK9 @ Fiske
- Friday, September 1st – 8:45-10:00 for PK6
- -10:30-11:45 for PK7 @ Fiske
Update: We are excited to welcome two new staff members to PAWS!
- Welcome Emma Smith, our new BCBA at PAWS who will be supporting our preschool students across the program.
- Welcome Doreen Jean, our new Student Support Professional who will be supporting students in the PK9 classroom.
Thank you to the families who have decorated hearts and created their positive messages for the PAWS Family Bulletin Board. We look forward to seeing all of you and your creations next week! If you visited the PAWS SUMMER FUN pages and have any photos or stories you’d like to share from the Preschool Checklist on slide #2, we encourage you to bring those to show your teacher as well!
