Dear Bates Families,
I wanted to communicate a couple of items on this Friday before winter vacation.
1. On Thursday, March 7 from 8:45 – 9:30 a.m. we invite all families to join us for Bates in Bloom. This school-wide event is an opportunity to visit your child’s classroom to celebrate your child’s work so far this year. We hope you can join us.
2. If you have a child who will be entering kindergarten next year, please register your child at the Kindergarten Roundup on Saturday, March 2 at the Sprague School from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Please visit https://wellesleyps.org for more information on registration.
3. For Grade 5 Parents only: If you are interested in learning more about the Puberty and Development curriculum, please join us for a presentation for parents on Wednesday, February 27 at 5:00 p.m. or Thursday, February 28 at 9:00 a.m. in the library.
4. Please help P.A.W.S. Preschool by donating books to their 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten program. A collection box will be in the Bates lobby until April vacation. Please see this flyer for more information.
5. Finally, as a reminder, there is no school next week, February 18-22. I wish everyone a restful and rejuvenating week. We look forward to seeing everyone on Monday, February 25.
