Dear Bates Families,
Bates is thrilled to welcome our families for Bates in Bloom on Wednesday from 8:30 – 9:15 am. We hope you’ll be able to join us to celebrate our students and their hard work! Students with siblings at Bates may travel with their families to one another’s classrooms at this time. If you are not able to make it, please let your child’s teacher know, so we can make sure all students feel supported Wednesday morning.
Also next week, Bates is excited to host the return of the
Bionic Project on Thursday and Friday. Through a whole-school assembly and hands-on grade-level workshops, students will explore the importance of inclusive language, accessibility, and the principles of universal design. We look forward to this powerful educational experience led by the Bionic Project’s inspiring educators and athletes. A huge thank you to our PTO for their generous support in making this program possible!
Finally, a huge kudos to our third, fourth and fifth grade students for completing their MCAS testing! They worked really hard and persevered through multiple days of testing. We are so proud of their determination and commitment to doing their very best.
I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
Best regards,
Toni
