Dear Bates Families,
Next Friday, June 5, Wellesley High School will hold its graduation ceremony, marking a special milestone for our community. To celebrate, the Wellesley elementary schools will continue our wonderful tradition of holding a schoolwide clap out for graduating seniors prior to their ceremony.
We are so excited to welcome back and celebrate our former Bates students as they return to our hallways in their caps and gowns next Friday. I wanted to share this with you in case your children mention it at home. We hope it will be a deeply meaningful and inspiring moment for both our graduating alumni and our current students!
Fifth Grade Fond Farewell
At Bates, we love to recognize our “graduates” with a special ceremony called Fond Farewell. This year’s Fond Farewell ceremony will be held on Thursday, June 18 at 9:00 am.
Fifth-grade families and friends are warmly invited to join us on Kelly Field (weather permitting) to celebrate our fifth graders as they make their exciting transition to middle school.
Spring Concert
On Wednesday, June 10 at 8:45 am in the gym we will hold the final concert of the year. The Bates band and orchestra, as well as the fifth grade chorus, will be performing. All family and friends are welcome to join us for this special event!
