Fiske Family Bulletin

From the PrincipalDear Fiske Families,
It has been another fabulous week at Fiske. Today was the first indoor arrival and I was able to greet each child as they walked through the gym door. All the bright faces and shining smiles were such a wonderful way to start the day. Thankfully the rain stopped and we were able to go out for recess.Reminders
Rosh Hashana
h–Monday, September 14–No school
Back to School Night–Wednesday, September 16 from 6:30-8:00 p.m.
This night is a time for parents and guardians to hear about a day in the life of your Fiske student. Please do not bring your children to this event.
Grade 3-5 classrooms will be hosting parents and guardians from 6:30-7:00. All parents and guardians are invited to come to the gym from 7:00-7:30 to hear a principal and PTO presentation and visit with the art, music, F&H and library teachers. This is also a wonderful time to explore the variety of volunteer opportunities the PTO has for the school year. From 7:30-8:00 grade K-2 classrooms will be hosting parents and guardians. We look forward to seeing you all on this very informative night.
Picture Day-Thursday, September 17th…Remember to bring your best smile!

Our Fiske School could not be the amazing place it is without the incredible efforts of the PTO. I am reaching out to all parents and guardians to consider joining the PTO and being part of this group that provides so much to our students. I am excited to announce that the first PTO meeting of the year will be on Wednesday, September 30 at 6:30 p.m. in the library. This year we will be alternating evening and morning PTO meetings, giving more opportunities for involvement. I look forward to seeing you at our first meeting!Car Line
The car line is off to a great start.  Please remember to stay in your car and move to the end of the circle. Please do not pass or pull around cars in car line.  This week car line signs for dashboards were sent home. Please put your sign in the front window of your car so it can be easily seen. Thank you all for another amazing week at Fiske. Please contact me if you have any questions or concerns.  I look forward to seeing you at Back to School Night. Have a lovely weekend.
Warmest Regards,
Rachel McGregor
