Fiske Families,
The ELA MCAS are over and we are all so proud of the grade 3-5 students for doing their best work on these assessments. Before we all go on vacation, there will be a lot happening at Fiske next week.
This Saturday, April 9th the first Fiske Science Fair will be held from 3:30-5:00 p.m. in the Fiske gym. To date there are approximately 70 Fiske-tastic scientists participating in the fair. It should be an amazing afternoon of fun with science. Thank you to our Co-chairs: Anshul Chadda, Hilary Madge, and Manisha Varma for creating this exciting opportunity for Fiske students.
On Wednesday, April 13th at 6:00 p.m. the talent of our fourth and fifth graders will be on display at the Fiske Talent Show! This should be a wonderful evening of music, dance, and drama for the entire family to enjoy. A huge thank you to Alyssa Holtzman, Lisa Rodger, and Lizzy Floyd for working to make this night of talent a success for our children.
Today you will all receive a flyer in your child’s backpack for the new Fiske After School Enrichment offerings. The registration date for these programs will be on Wednesday, April 13th. Online registration starts at 7:00 a.m. Phone registration begins at 8:30 a.m. through the Wellesley Recreation Department at 781-235-2370. Scholarships are available by contacting Rachel McGregor at mcgregorr or calling 781-446-6265.
Last but not least…Come join me for the Principal’s Coffee on Friday, April 15th at
8:45 a.m. in the library. This is a wonderful opportunity to share Fiske spring plans. I’ll bring the coffee and you bring the questions!

Please save the date for the incoming Grade 6 1:1 Information Night on April 14 from 6:30-8:00 at the Wellesley Middle School Cafeteria. During this event you will receive detailed information on the program including participation options, pricing and registration instructions. Registration for the program will open on April 14.
