Fiske Families,
The Fiske Community is ready for another great Wild West Round Up so come join us tomorrow(Saturday, September 24th) from 10-2pm! Today we had numerous cowboys and cowgirls decked out in full Western gear to get ready for the big day. The sun will be shining so come enjoy the crafts, games, rides, food and prizes.
Please join me for our first Principal’s coffee on Wednesday, September 28th at 8:45 in the library. This is a time to discuss questions and areas of interest you have in regards to Fiske. If you would like to send your questions ahead of time please email them to me at mcgregorr.
Playground News
Today the primary play structures were fully opened for lunch recess! The DPW is currently working on the intermediate playground. Much of the work in the intermediate play structures will be completed for the Wild West. Thank you to all of the DPW workers getting the play structures safe and ready for our children.

BOKS Before-School Activity — Every Tues and Thurs @ 7:30-8:15am
Active bodies = Active Minds! We still have space for your kids to join our popular Tuesday and Thursday before-school exercise program BOKS (www.BOKSkids.org). This is a FREE program led by Fiske parents who organize warm-ups, stretching, relay races, cartwheels, tumbling, and fun team-oriented games. The first session of BOKS will run Tuesdays and Thursdays from Sept. 20-Dec. 15 (not on voting days of school holidays). Drop off is 7:30 a.m. in the Fiske gym.
This is a PTO program that requires parent volunteers to assist and to lead the morning sessions. If each participating family signed up for 3 sessions this fall, then we will be able to keep the program running through December. This is a great way to spend fun quality time with your children.
