Recycling symbol - Wikipedia

On Tuesday we enjoyed the Fiske Student Council’s presentation of our new lunch recycling program which included a demonstration video that was shared with all students. Students were reminded of what items can and cannot be recycled. The children know A LOT about recycling and are looking forward to doing their part for our environment.

To start this program we are looking for parent volunteers to help children with recycling during lunch. Please consider volunteering for a 40 minute session to help with this exciting program. Volunteers must have a current CORI form on file. To sign up please go to the signup genius, http://www.signupgenius.com/go/30e0d4ea5a623a6f85-cafeteria .

Lunch periods are:

11:25-12:05 Grades 1 and 5

12:05-12:45 Grades K and 3

12:45-1:25 Grades 2 and 4

Thank you for helping us with this program.

MCAS

Our third and fourth grade students took the ELA MCAS this week. It was truly impressive to see the effort that each and every child put into taking these assessments. Growth Mindset was seen in how they persevered to do their best. We are all so proud of their efforts. Children who were absent will be able to make up the assessments when they return to school.
