Dear Fiske Families,
Thank you to all the parents who provided food for the Teachers’ Appreciation lunch on Wednesday. The salads, sandwiches, eggplant parmesan, and numerous dessert were tasty treats that were enjoyed by all. Your generosity was greatly appreciated by the entire Fiske staff.
On Wednesday morning the Fiske Falcons flew around the field to raise funds for the American Humane Society and All Hands Volunteers for disaster relief. Grades 3-5 ran first and were cheered on by Kindergarten – grade 2. Then our youngest falcons ran and were cheered on by grades 3-5. It was a wonderful community event that was enjoyed by the entire school. Thank you to Ms. Gerst, Ms. Verret and the entire student council for arranging this fun event for our community. Please remember to send in coins to add to our disaster relief collection.
As we go into the holiday season I am reminded of how fortunate it is to work with such an amazing community of educators, staff, students, parents and guardians. Each day your children greet us at the door with smiles and good cheer. At the end of the day they leave the building with the same smiles and cheer. It is truly a pleasure to be part of their educational journey.
This journey could not be successful without the amazing Fiske teachers and staff who work to meet both the social emotional and academic needs of each child . My Fiske colleagues truly exemplify what it means to be dedicated educators who show passion for their work every day. Our community would not be as amazing without the parents and guardians who work together to support the numerous programs at Fiske. This is truly a Fisketastic community that gives me reasons to be thankful each day.
