This afternoon is the second Barton Road Pizza Playdate. Come join us at the Barton Community Playground tonight from 5:00-7:00 pm. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet parents and children in our school community. Snacks, pizza and drinks will be provided. We hope to see you there!
At the beginning of each school year Fiske offers to run a morning care program for children who need before school care from 7:30-8:15 am. This is a fee based program. To run this program we need 10 children to be enrolled. Unfortunately we have not been able to run the program for the last three years but would like to assess interest for the 2018-2019 school year. If you are interested in morning care for the 2018-2019 school year please email Sue Drayton at draytons@wellesleyps.org and she will place your name on our list. Thank you
Math and Science MCAS
Congratulations to fourth and fifth grade on the completion of the math MCAS. Third grade classes will be taking the Math MCAS on Monday, May 7 and Tuesday, May 8. Fifth grade classes will be taking the Science MCAS on Thursday, April 10 and Friday, April 11. Please make every effort to have your children to school at 8:30.

Music Around the World
Please join Fiske for the biggest musical event of the year, Music Around the World! Wednesday, May 9th at 8:45 in the Fiske Gym. K-5 students will perform songs and dances from
Mexico, Ghana, Nigeria, Japan, Russia, USA and Israel.
We had another successful walk to school day with over 136 children participated. The class with the most participant is…1H! Way to go Golden Sneaker Winners!
Megaphone BOKS is back, BOKS is back!!!! Spring Mini Session
The early morning exercise program will resume May 7 and run through June 14, Mondays and Thursday. Drop off is 7:30 to 7:40 at the gym. Program will end at 8:15.
The sessions will consist of a short warm up, running exercises, team-building games, and a bit of nutrition. Hopefully the weather will be nice and we can try to have some outdoor activity.
If you haven’t yet participated this year, you are welcome to try BOKS, please complete the registration form sent in the latest Fiske Friday news. Feel free to reach out to Danielle Nixon (617-359-6873) with any questions. Existing BOKS families do not need to complete a new registration.
As this is a free program, we are in need of Parent Volunteers. This is a short six week program. If your child is participating, please try to come to two sessions over the six weeks.
