Dear Families,
Happy New Year! It was so nice to see our Fiske Falcons come back to school and ready to start 2019! It is always a highlight of the day to greet students as they enter the school.
Cold and Flu Season
The holiday season has passed and the cold and flu season is upon us. The custodians are taking extra care wiping down common area surfaces. Attendance is very important to your child’s education, but for the health of all please keep your child home if they are exhibiting illness or flu like symptoms. If your child has a temperature, please keep them home until they have been fever free for 24 hours without medication and have been on antibiotic therapy (if indicated) for twenty-four hours. Children with the stomach bug should also stay at home.
When notifying the secretary that your child is ill, please give a reason/symptoms so that we can identify any patterns of illness. If your child is going to be out of school, always notify the secretary, even if you have informed your child’s teacher. Thank you for your consideration.
Math Night for Parents
