Dear Families,
Thank you to Megan Dyer and Perri Gordon for bringing the amazing acapella group Ball in the House to our school on Wednesday. This concert was sponsored by the Fiske Creative Arts Committee. The children truly enjoyed hearing the songs and learning about how to sing acapella
We are entering our last two weeks of school and lots of fun activities are planned. A very important detail to put on your calendar is that the last Wednesday of the year, June 13th, will be a FULL DAY. The last day of the school year, Friday, June 14th, will be an early release day.
Please look in your child’s backpack today for the Fiske Cookout flyer. We are asking all parents and guardians to fill out the form and send it back by Wednesday, June 5th with your child’s food selection. The form is also attached to this email. Fiske Cookout.docx
On Wednesday, June 5th Mrs. Verret will be hosting the instrument concert. Come and hear music presented by our orchestra, band and third graders on the recorder.
Fifth grade parents please note that the Move-up ceremony is on Thursday, June 13th at 9:00 a.m.
Hop on the Fiske Welcome Wagon and help build our Fiske community!
Summer is around the corner and we have many new families enrolling at Fiske for the 2019-2020 school year. We are looking for current families to volunteer to connect with incoming students and parents, offer a warm welcome to our community, and potentially answer questions about Fiske as they navigate around their new school.
