A huge thank you to Sherri Herman for organizing Fiske Bingo Night. There were over 300 people in attendance! That is amazing!
I wish you all a wonderful Martin Luther King Jr. weekend. Many students have been telling me about their plans this weekend. This week at school teachers have been sharing information about the life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with our students. Please take a moment to ask your child/children what they have learned about Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and his impact on the Civil Rights Movement.
Thank you to Megan LeBlanc for giving us an overview of the redistricting process at the PTO meeting on Thursday, January 16th. Please make sure to attend one of the public forums on redistricting to stay informed about proposed plans for redistricting.
Redistricting Community Forums
Please join the Superintendent’s Advisory Committee on Redistricting to review and provide feedback on the draft redistricting plans under development for implementation after the construction of the new elementary schools, currently projected for fall of 2024. Forums are scheduled on the following dates:
Wed., January 22, 2020, at 7 pm
Tues., January 28, 2020, at 9 am
Both forums will be held in the Wellesley Middle School Auditorium.

Kindergarten Roundup 2020-2021
The Kindergarten Roundup is happening. If you, or your friends, have a child entering Kindergarten in 2020 then please attend one of these enrollment sessions.

Wednesday, February 5th – Kindergarten class of 2020 Round-up – 3:00-6:00 p.m. Sprague

Wednesday, March 7th – Kindergarten class of 2020 Round-up -9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m- Sprague
For children 5 years of age on or before August 31, 2020. Please bring registration forms and required documents to the Round Up. Download a registration packet on the district website: https://wellesleyps.org/students-families/student-registration/kindergarten-registration If required, nurse follow-up and English Learner screenings will occur at individual schools by appointment.
