Valentine Greeting
Dear Families,
A Fisektastic thank you to Dr. Scott Barton for sharing his love of music and technology with our Fiske students. Dr. Barton shared with us his love of music and the story of how it grew into a study of bringing music and technology together. It was an incredible assembly and we are grateful to Dr. Barton for coming to Fiske with his amazing music. Thank you to our Creative Arts Co-Chairs Teresa Peters and Laura Campbell for hosting this assembly for our students.
It was so wonderful to see all the students returning from February vacation. As always, we are hitting the ground running. March is a very busy month with many wonderful opportunities for our Fiske families.

Day of STEAM – Wednesday, March 4th
On Wednesday, March 3rd, Fiske School will be hosting a Day of S.T.E.A.M. for our students. The day will be dedicated to innovation and the development of enthusiasm about Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Maths. Students will participate in activities that will engage critical thinking and problem solving skills while fostering creativity.
Day of S.T.E.A.M. will consist of two sessions. In one session, students will take part in S.T.E.A.M. team-building challenges designed to encourage collaboration and communication among peers.
The second session will be divided into two working blocks, during which students will attend two workshops of personal interest. They will be given the opportunity to explore technology, build with engineering materials and produce original art.
We look forward to the first Fiske Day of S.T.E.A.M. and anticipate great student excitement throughout the event!
Sincerely, The Fiske Teachers
