Dear Fiske Families,
It is with great joy that I welcome you back to the 2020-2021 school year. This weekend you received a communication from our Technology Department with instructions regarding how to access SeeSaw for grades K-2 and Google Classroom for grades 3-5. Please be sure to read those instructions for an easier transition to remote learning on Wednesday..
Today and tomorrow teachers are meeting with families via Zoom to say hello and connect with your children. On Wednesday, September 16th students will be returning to school remotely. The first day of school is on an early release Wednesday so we will meet from 8:30 a.m. -12:15 p.m. We will start with an all school assembly at 8:30 a.m. and then children will meet with their teachers at the conclusion of the assembly. The Zoom link to the assembly will be sent out Wednesday morning. Given the capacity of our Zoom license we are asking that families use 1 device in the house to view the assembly.
Students will start in person learning October 1st(cohort A) and 2nd (Cohort B). The teachers and support staff are very excited to welcome students back into the Fiske building.
For detailed information regarding the 2020-2021 school year please refer to the Wellesley Public School Reopening Plan. As we embark upon this school year, please remember that school attendance is required. Teachers will be taking attendance (page 23 in reopening plan) each day during Zoom meetings.
The parent portal remains open until September 18th. It is imperative that you update your contact information for each child, and review the annual notices. As in prior years, you will not be receiving a class list due to security and privacy laws (see MGL 603 CMR 23.00 for more information).

September 24th 10:00am-12:00pm
This is the time to drop off medication for your child that they may need at school. You must also include the primary care provider and the parent/guardian authorizations at that time. For complete information regarding the medication drop off please see the attached letter from our nurse.
