Fiske Falcon

Fiske Families,

What a week this has been.  I had the pleasure of visiting all the classrooms and seeing your amazing children in action.  Learning remotely is new to all. The Fiske Falcons are putting forth a great effort and doing their best.

Speaking of doing their best, thank you to our Fiske staff!  It has been an absolute pleasure to see the engaging activities teachers have created for their students.  Thank you!

This weekend please be on the lookout for an email  from the Superintendent regarding COVID 19 testing for students.  This email will describe the baseline testing in detail.

While learning at home here are a few tips for making the day successful;

  • Create a workspace that includes a supportive chair and flat surface to write on during the school day

  • Have school materials such as pencils, markers and paper in the work area

  • Eliminate distractions such as phones, televisions and/or video games

  • Charge the iPad at night so it is ready to go for the school day

  • Take scheduled screen breaks when provided by the teacher

  • During lunch and recess have your child leave their device and get some fresh air

Thank you for your continued support in making this a great start to a unique year.
