Fiske Families,
This week brought such joy to me as I walked around the school and heard students together in the classrooms and outside on the playgrounds. Once again, our Fiske teachers and staff are doing an amazing job of making Fiske a happy place for all. As we did last year, it is our goal to have snacks and lunches outside as much as possible. Children will be eating outside until the thermometer dips below 40 degrees. With that in mind, please remember to send in the appropriate outdoor gear as we move into the cooler days of fall.
The Fiske back to school night will be on Wednesday, September 22nd via Zoom from 6:10-7:30 p.m. The evening will start off with a presentation from the Principal at 6:10 p.m. K-2 parents/guardians will meet with their child/children’s classroom teachers from 6:30-7:00 p.m. Third – Fifth Grade parents will meet with their child/children’s classroom teachers from 7:00-7:30 p.m. There will be a link shared for asynchronous videos from our specialists. All video and Zoom links will be sent on the morning of Wednesday, September 22nd.

After a year off, the PTO is excited to bring back its annual fundraiser, organized and run exclusively by Fiske families. We need your help to make this a successful event, as it will take more than 400 volunteer hours to set up, manage the many activities, as well as clean up afterward. Parents/guardians the Fiske Office is delighted to announce that Fiske has a new online Absence and Change of Dismissal Reporting Form. If your child is going to be absent or needs to report a change of dismissal, you no longer have to call the office or use a paper Change of Dismissal Form. Instead you can click on the Fiske Website and fill out the Absentee/Change of Dismissal Form. Each completed form will be sent to the front office and nurse. Please complete this form in the morning so we can be sure that your child’s teacher receives the information.
