Fiske Families,
It was so wonderful to see the Fiske Falcons return to school on Tuesday. We have so much to look forward to over the next few weeks. This year Mrs. Verret will be hosting our first outdoor concerts and the Student Council is organizing our Fiske Spirit Week from Monday, December 20-Thursday, December 23. So much fun leading up to our winter break!
On Wednesday, December 15th at 9:00 a.m. (Rain date Thursday, December 16th at 9:00 a.m.) the Fifth Grade Chorus will be holding their concert at the front of the school. Parents are invited to join the Fiske Community for this musical presentation. This will be a 15 minute concert so chairs will not be provided. Please do not park or drive in the upper parking from 8:35-9:30 a.m.
On Wednesday, December 22nd at 9:00 a.m. (Rain Date Thursday, December 23rd-9:00 a.m) the Fifth Grade Chorus will be strolling around the outside of the school building to share some winter songs with the classrooms. Parents are welcome to join our strollers and sing along.

Thank you Creative Arts!
On Wednesday the amazing Creative Arts Co-Chairs Teresa Peters and Laura Smith brought our students Ooch the awesome yo-yo speaker. Ooch talked to us about the importance of including people to our collection of friends. Ooch shared how one person made all the difference to him when he was attending a new camp. Through this child’s kindness, he became Ooch’s lifelong friend. Ooch encouraged us all to be that one person to someone new.
Teacher Snack Cart
Thank you to Dorota Strzelecki for organizing the teacher snack cart for the second year. The snacks are nice treats for the teachers. We can not thank families enough for providing this extra love to our teachers. If you would like to sign up to provide snacks to the teachers please look in the PTO Monday Memo for the Signup Genius link.
Come join me via Zoom on Thursday, December 9th at 8:45 a.m. for Coffee with the Principal. Bring your questions and thoughts to the conversation. The Zoom link will be sent out Wednesday afternoon.
