Fiske Families,
We wish all of our families a wonderful spring break and time to enjoy with your family and friends.
On Wednesday we had Wellesley resident and graduate of the WPS, Blake Lothian, visit our school. Blake came to us in 2019 to share his story about car racing and his use of growth mindset. At that time Blake had just been accepted to NASCAR Rev Racing Drive for Diversity Driver Development program. Since then, Blake continued in his racing pursuits and recently started driving for the Reaume Brothers Racing Team in the NASCAR Camping World Series. Blake shared how he continues to use the growth mindset and the power of “yet.” This was such a powerful way for our students to hear how a growth mindset helps to achieve big and small goals. Thank you Blake!
