Fiske Families,
A huge thank you to our Fiske Teachers for hosting a wonderful Back-to-School Night! Thank you to all the parents/guardians who attended the wonderful evening event. It was Fisketastic to see both new and veteran families come together to learn about how our Fiske Falcons spend their days at school.
Parents/guardians, please remember to put your child/children’s name on all items sent to school. Each day water bottles, sweatshirts and jackets show up in the office. To assure children get these items returned, we often go from class to class to find the owner. It is extremely helpful when there is a name on the item. Thank you
PTO Meeting…
On Thursday, September 22 at 6:30 p.m. the PTO will be hosting the first PTO meeting of the year. This will be an in-person meeting with a Zoom option(the link will be sent on Thursday). Come meet the PTO Board and make some new friends.

The Western Round-Up cannot function without the support of the entire community.
Sign up for either set-up, a morning slot, an afternoon slot, or clean-up. We ask that each family try to cover one shift over the day.

Rollerblading Unit
Rollerblading will begin the week of September 27th for the 4th and 5th graders. During their Fitness and Health class students will learn and practice their rollerblading skills. This is a very exciting unit for Fiske students. Fiske provides all that is needed, from rollerblades, safety equipment (elbow pads, knee pads and wrist guards) and helmets for each class. We sanitize the equipment after each class.
Your child may bring in their own gear from home. Their helmets need to fit their heads properly and be able to fasten underneath their chin and everything needs to be labeled with their name on it. Place all of the gear in a bag and clip the helmet on the outside. This will allow them to carry their equipment safely.
