Fiske Families,
Thank you to Western Round-Up Co-Chairs, Erin Forker and Jen Cohn, and all the volunteers for organizing this Fisketastic event for our entire Wellesley Community. What an amazing day to come together to enjoy games, rides, food and friends. Each year the highlight for me is to see all the graduates from Fiske come back for the event.
Please remember that there is no school on Monday in observance of Rosh Hashanah. Happy New Year to all of our families who are celebrating this holiday.
Today your child/children brought home a One Wellesley T-shirt. To avoid it being lost at school, please put your child’s name on their shirt as soon as you receive it. All students and staff are asked to wear the t-shirts on Wednesday, September 28th to celebrate our Wellesley Public Schools Elementary school community.
A Message from our School Librarian, Pam Allen
Welcome back to school and library! Our library circulates approximately 400 books each week. In order to function efficiently, we are looking for volunteers to help us shelve, repair and process books.
We would like to continue the Fiske Library Birthday Book Program, and are hoping for separate parent volunteers that could dedicate some time to help specifically with this ongoing library fundraiser throughout the year.
This year, I hope to get many parent volunteers in our library to help with these jobs. The jobs are not complicated and you will be fully trained by me. Volunteers are needed in the library from 8:30-9:00, or 2:30-3:00. If you are interested, please email me with day and time you are available: allenp@wellesleyps.org

Invitations are coming through email from the host(s) or via your room parents. If you have not heard about the details for your grade-wide parent social, please reach out to your room parents! We may not have your email address.
We are still looking for hosts for Kindergarten and 3rd Grade!
The socials are a great, casual way to meet other parents in our Fiske community!
