Dear Fiske Families,
Happy Friday! We do not have school on Monday in observance of Indigenous Peoples’ Day. Enjoy the long weekend and the beautiful colors of fall.
The school year is moving along, please read these few reminders regarding arrival and dismissal:

During the morning, if you drop your child before or after the carline, wait to make sure your child gets into the building before leaving.

Arrival is at 8:15 a.m. Do not drop your child off before you see a Fiske Staff member on the playground or directing the carline.

Please remember to put in all changes of dismissal in PickUp Patrol.

Dismissal on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday at 3:05 p.m. and on Wednesdays at 12:00 p.m. It is important to be in the carline at dismissal time as the office is not available to provide after school care.

Picture Day- Thursday, October 17
Picture day is Thursday, October 17th. A backpack flier was sent home in backpacks last week with ordering information. Sibling pictures will not be offered.

You are invited to join us on Thursday, November 21, 2024 from 6:00-7:30 p.m. for our Around the World with Fiske evening. This event will be a chance to learn about the many traditions and cultures of our Fiske families. More details regarding how families can participate will be coming soon.
Time to clean out the closets for the Cradles to Crayons annual collection from October 6-31.
Cradles to Crayons’ focus is to provide children living in homeless, or low-income situations, with the essential items they need to thrive at home, school, and play. Research shows that 1 and 3 children will experience clothing insecurity in their lifetime. Fiske will be participating in a clothing drive during the weeks of October 6 – 31. Cradles to Crayons is looking for gently used New or Gently Used:

Winter Coats/Winter Gear
If you have these items, please bring them to the clearly marked bin placed outside the front door. Donations go to families throughout Massachusetts so please consider donating.
In addition, on Saturday, November 2nd , Cradles to Crayons will hold a sorting event at Babson College in the BRAC Gymnasium (9:30am-11:30am). This event is open to the entire Wellesley community.
