​​March 18 & 27th: Online Speaker Series Supporting Students’ Mental Health 

Wellesley Public Schools and the Wellesley Education Foundation are pleased to present two more informative events supporting students’ mental health. New: The March 27 event has been moved online (link below).

 

 

  • On March 27 from 6-7 p.m at the Wellesley High School auditorium, join us for a workshop on Distress Tolerance: Supporting Your Child in High Intensity Moments.  Yudelki M. Firpo-Perretti, Ph.D. from McLean will share skills for helping children learn to tolerate distress and big feelings without making the situation worse, including a skills coaching protocol for parents to use at home. MCAS Schedule 2025

Each Spring the Third, Fourth and Fifth grade students take the state tests, MCAS, online.  For your planning purposes, the dates of these assessments are noted below.  Please make every effort to have your third, fourth and fifth grade children at school by 8:30 a.m. on the testing dates.  If your child is absent on the day of the assessments, make up sessions will be held the day they return to school.
