Fiske Families,
This morning we had the final PTO meeting of the year. Thank you to outgoing President Manisha Varma; Co-Vice presidents Anshal Chadda, Benna Katekar, and Anna Papoutsis; Treasurers Greg Leif and Nerine Warasta; and Co-Secretaries Ceida Chan and Robin Bellinger. Thank you for all of the incredible work you have done this year to provide wonderful opportunities for our children.
Fiske welcomes our new PTO board members President Megan LeBlanc, Vice-President Cherry Poulicakos; Treasurers Colin Flynn and Greg Lief, and secretary Julie Griffin and Robin Bellinger. We are looking to another wonderful year with the PTO.
The third grade classes wrote three incredible persuasive essays asking if the Fiske students could have a cookout. The third grade students created a detailed plan and assured me they would help. Their plan detailed how to accommodate students with allergies and/or food concerns. After speaking with the food service, nurse department and all of our teachers and TAs it was decided that we could do this. Thanks to the incredible efforts of the third grade we will be having a cookout on Friday, June 15th. A flyer for the event was sent home yesterday and one is attached to this email. Please fill this food order out and return in on Monday, June 4th. Thank you

Tuesday, June 19th at 9:00 a.m. the Fiske staff invites all to come and celebrate the Fifth Grade Move Up ceremony in the gymnasium.

Wednesday, June 20th at 9:00 a.m.-Mrs. Verret will also be hosting our traditional K-5 Flag Ceremony in the upper parking lot.

Wednesday, June 20th at 12:00 p.m.- Fifth Grade clap out
We are looking for returning Fiske Families to be a resource for our new families. Our goal is to match each new family with a veteran Fiske family to help them with the transition to Fiske. Please consider joining our new Fiske Welcome Wagon.
