Fiske Families,

Thank you to the orchestra, band, and 5th grade chorus for the outstanding concert they performed for our entire Fiske Community. The work and effort that was put into learning and presenting the music was monumental. Thank you to Ms. Verrett and Mr. Wilson for working with their students to help them grow into amazing musicians. Once again our Fiske students shine!

Gearing up for Winter Recess

The snow is coming…. Please remember to send your children in with boots, snow pants, hats, mittens and a coat. It’s very helpful if clothing items are marked with your child’s name. We want every child to be able to play in the snow. If you are in need of any of these items please contact our social worker, Sara Berenson at berensons@wellesleyps.org.

Fiske Road Construction

The large puddle at the entrance of the Fiske parking lot is scheduled to be fixed next week. Weather permitting, the construction work will start on Tuesday, December 13th and will end with paving on Thursday, December 15th.

Police details will be assigned during the construction period. Pick-up & drop-off traffic to Fiske School will be modified as follows during the start and end of the school day.

  • During drop-off(8:00-8:30) and dismissal(3:00-3:30) Hastings Street will be one way. Incoming traffic will be allowed to enter the upper parking lot and the lower parking lot.

  • All traffic exiting the upper and lower Fiske parking lots will be routed onto Madison Road.

  • Traffic will flow in both directions on Hastings Street during the remainder of the day.

  • Work barricades will be removed at night and road plates will be placed over excavation to allow for two lane traffic overnight.

Thank you for your patience during this construction period.
