Dear PAWS Families,
The Helping Hands Project at PAWS this year includes the most requests we have ever had, and in turn, has received wonderful support from the PAWS community. Thank you to all who have signed-up to lend a hand. If you have been meaning to lend a helping hand and have not yet had a chance to sign-up to help fulfill a holiday wish, please look at the remaining requests HERE.
Donations of wrapping paper, tissue paper and gift bags, tape, and scissors to send home with the gifts, will be gratefully received.
Thank you for signing-up to purchase some items from the wish list HERE if you are able. You may order items and have them shipped directly to PAWS and we will match the gifts to the correct child.

1,000 Books Before Kindergarten Project
Here are some notes about the 1,000BBK book bags:
- Please leave the tag with the list of books on it attached to the book bag
- Please leave your child’s name tag on the book bag
- Please return the canvas bag with the books
- Please keep your child’s “game board” at home, to color in the number of the book bag you read
- If you read all of your books in one night or two and would like a new book bag the next day, please let me know and I will swap out the books you’ve already read for a new set of books to enjoy. Otherwise your book bags will be swapped out each week.
Teacher/Staff Gift Guidelines:
- MA Rules on giving: $50 annual maximum can be given to each staff person at PAWS LINK to the MA law. Reminder: the annual maximums are based on calendar year, not school year.
