Anthony Bent

Wellesley School Committee (elected March 2015).  Parent and grandparent of children who attended/attend school in the district. Previously: Teacher (Wellesley High); Department Head (Newton South); Interim Assistant Superintendent (Lexington); Director of Personnel/Professional Development (Watertown); Superintendent (Shrewsbury); President (Massachusetts Association of School Superintendents).   Currently: Consultant in educational leadership; adjunct college professor; leader of professional development tours abroad (e.g., Cuba, Finland, and Poland).  Education includes a bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degree from Boston College.

Sharon Gray

Previously: Co-president of Upham PTO; co-chair of the STEAM Superintendent’s Advisory Committee; Wellesley Education Foundation board; Committee 21 board: 20 years as a journalist (15 at the Tampa Bay Times). Currently: Interior Designer/Communications Coordinator for Haddad Hakansson Design Studio in Belmont. B.S. in Journalism from the University of Florida. Parent of three children (elementary, middle, high school) in the Wellesley Public Schools.

Parent of four children, three of whom attend middle and elementary school in the Wellesley Public Schools.
