“Honor the leap as well as the landing.” Shannon Donavan-Monti Fiske Families,The holidays are quickly approaching and Fiske students are ready. We ended our week on a high note with the fourth and fifth grade student council presenting their first all school assembly. A special thank you to our art teacher, Mr. Haberstroh, for creating our amazing turkey! Thank you to all student and staff for creating the over 350 feathers that covered our turkey. Another Fiske-tastic effort from our amazing students!   NOW THAT IS A TURKEY!!!!!
Fiske Family Game Night
 What an amazing night! Thank you Hillary Madge for providing our Fiske community with a family night of games and pizza. We are looking forward to the next game night. Anshika is our reigning Quadrillion Champ!
Most Likely to SucceedOn Thursday night Fiske and Schofield hosted the screening of Most Likely to Succeed. It was a wonderful night with lots of conversation. If you were not able to join us this week, please try to attend another screening. Information can be found on The Wellesley Education Foundation web page. This is a must see movie that looks at the present and future educational system.

RemindersDismissal is a time of great excitement for the children. When children leave the building they run to car line, caretakers, parents, guardians and parked cars. Over the past two weeks we have observed students running through the car line to a car that is parked in the parking lot or on Hastings Street. This can be a very dangerous situation with so many moving automobiles. If you would like to park to pick your child up, please park in the lower parking lot and walk up to the flagpole. This will provide our students with a safer dismissal. We thank you for your support in this effort.
