“Honor the leap as well as the landing.” Shannon Donavan-MontiFiske Families,It has been another Fiske-tastic week! It was a cold start with some indoor recesses but luckily the week warmed up so the children could go outside. Our Kindergarteners met some interesting animals and the Student Council worked on a school assembly for next Friday. Fun was had by all.
Curious Creatures The Kindergarteners welcomed some Curious Creatures to their classrooms this week. The students enjoyed seeing and learning about a snake, tortoise, skunk and flying squirrel. Thank you to the Creative Arts Committee for bringing these interesting animals to our classroom.
Fiske Mascot The Student Council looking for a mascot for Fiske! The persuasive essays are in! Now it is time for the Student Council to look at the essays and come up with 4 finalist mascots. What will we they be? The Fiske Puppies? The Fiske Unicorns? The Fiske Falcons? The Fiske Cougars? These are just a few of the options! Only time will tell. Keep posted for updates to the process.
Safety ReminderArrival and dismissal are times of the day when we all have to take extra care while entering and leaving the school parking lots. Please drive slowly, as children are getting into cars and crossing at the crosswalks. Please DO NOT park in the upper parking lot or on Hastings Street during these times of the day. Although the pick up line is long, it moves quickly and safely if we all follow the safety rules. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Kindergarten Registration Round Up!
