Dear Fiske Families,

A huge thank you to Efi Fotiadis, Nicole Vecchiotti and Manisha Varma for organizing the World Heritage Night. This was an outstanding evening of celebrating the foods, artifacts, and dances of our many cultures at Fiske. Thank you to all the parents who provided displays and food for the night. Thank you to all our Fiske students who danced in the performances.

Thank you Christina Gerst for hosting the Fitness and Health Open House. Many parents attended and enjoyed running, jumping and experiencing a health and fitness class with their children. One parent was heard saying, “That was a real workout!” In addition to having fun, the families at Fiske raised $3,000.00 for the American Heart Association. Congratulations to all for such an outstanding effort!

The Fisketastic Day of Play is here!

Macintosh HD:Users:rodgerl:Desktop:robot-final1.jpg

What is the Fisktastic Day of Play? On Wednesday, March 8th Fiske will be hosting a day of play for K-5 students. Students will be spending the day making and creating using recyclable materials.

On March 6th or 7th, students need to bring one grocery bag filled with clean, recycled items to school. All supplies are required to be recycled materials.

If you are willing to donate packing tape, please have your child bring a roll to school on March 7th. Thank you for your contributions!

We are in need of Fisketastic Day of Play volunteers. Please consider volunteering for one of the building sessions in your child’s classroom. There are 2 time slots in each classroom; 2-3 parents are needed for each shift.

  • 8:45-10:00 am: Parents will help with setup and assist students as they create and build.
  • 10:30-11:15 am: Parents will assist students as they continue to build. Parents will also help with cleanup at the end of the session.
