Dear Fiske Families,

On Wednesday, March 21st the Fiske teachers and staff will be hosting Fiske Reads.  This is a wonderful family event celebrating our community diversity through books. We have parent readers who will reading in Greek, Spanish, Albanian, Mandarin and  Vietnamese. In addition, we have our celebrity readers; Deputy Chief Scott Whittemore, METCO Coordinator Grant Hightower and School committee Chair Michael D’Ortenzio Jr.  It promises to be a wonderful night of books and fun.

This is a fun packed evening that starts with the Fiske book fair from 5:30-6:10 pm. Readers will begin at 6:15 pm.  The book fair will open again from 7:00-7:30 pm. Check in your child/children’s backpack for more detailed information please see the attached flyer.

Dress as your Favorite Character

Wednesday, March 21st

To get ready for our Fiske Reads evening, we are encouraging children to dress as their favorite book character during the school day on Wednesday, March 21.  Last year we had the Cat in the Hat, Harry Potter, and Pippi Longstocking to name a few. I wonder who will show up this year?
