Fiske Families,
Yesterday we were all treated to a wonderful recorder, orchestra and band concert played by our own incredible Fiske students. Once again we were all in awe of their amazing skills in playing so beautifully. Thank you to Mrs. Verret and Mr.Russel for working with our children to help them grow into amazing musicians.
Speaking of bands! Guess what school band won the Chairman’s Award for the best band in the Wellesley Veterans Day Parade? The one and only Fiske Band! Our Fiske band played throughout the entire route and were outstanding. Thank you to Mrs. Verret and the PTO for organizing this amazing event and to all the children who joined us. Fiske pride was on the move.
On Friday, June 15th the third grade will host a cookout for our entire school. Thank you to the PTO for funding this cookout for all of our students. This should be a fun time for all.
The Fiske PTO will also be hosting the Family picnic on Wednesday, June 13 at 6:00-8:00 p.m. Bring your family and picnic basket.
Please join us for the 5th grade Move Up Ceremony on Tuesday, June 19th at 9:00 a.m. Come join us in celebrating this amazing group of children. We remember their accomplishments and wish them all the best in their next adventures.
Grade Level Update
The year is ending and we are looking toward the fall. At this time we have two Fiske teachers will be changing grade levels for the 2018-2019 school year. Alyssa Holtzman will be teaching fourth grade and Annie Gayner will be teaching second grade. Thank you to Alyssa and Annie for bringing their teaching expertise to these new grade levels.
Welcome Wagon
The Fiskek Welcome Wagon is looking for many returning Fiske Families to be a resource for our new families. Our goal is to match each new family with a veteran family to help them with the transition to Fiske. Please consider joining our new Fiske Welcome Wagon.
