Fiske Families,
This is the final Friday Fiske News for the 2017-2018 school year. What an amazing year it has been. It is always a pleasure to work with your children and see them grow over the year. We are sorry to see the fifth grade go, and happy to welcome our newest kindergarten students. Sue Drayton and I will be in the office this summer so please call us with any questions or concerns you may have. We look forward to seeing our K-5 students return for the 2018-2019 school year. Go Falcons!!!
The Fiske cookout was a huge success! Students asked if we could do this every week! Thank you to the third grader teachers and students for planning this event for all their Fiske Friends. Thank you to Mr. Chips and Mr McHale for ensuring we had enough food; this included a quick trip to Middle School for extra hamburgers. Thank you to all of our volunteers for grilling and serving our students. It was truly a Fisketastic event!
Our day ended with our annual game of Fifth grade vs. teachers kickball. It was an exciting game that ended with a win for the fifth grade. Thanks to all the teachers who participated in this greatly anticipated event.
Wednesday, June 20th is the last day of school. This is an early release day for all students. Please come help us clap out our amazing fifth grade friends and wish them well in their Middle School years. We will miss them all.

Parent Portal
On August 6th parents/guardians will have access to the Powerschool Parent Portal. New families will recevie access codes from the district the week before the Parent Portal opens. After updating your family account and signing permissions, you will be able to see your child’s teacher assignment for the 2018-19 school year. All beginning of the year announcement will be posted on our website before school begins.

Dear Fiske Families,
I would like to send out a huge THANK YOU from the Fitness and Health Department. Thank you for volunteering your time at Field Day. You made it an incredible day for our students. Thank you for supporting our Yoga Open House. Thank you for your support to our Jump Rope for Heart fundraiser. We raised over $6,500 to give to the American Heart Association. Thank you for reminding your children to wear their sneakers on Fitness and Health class days. Thank you for helping them get their rollerblade gear to school. Thanks for supporting our program. We appreciate all of the generosity from the PTO. Many of the Field Day stations are funded directly from the PTO. We hope that you have a very SAFE and FUN summer. Please remember helmet and skin safety. Drink lots of water and looking forward to a Fisketastic Fall!
