Fiske Families,
Thank you for your contributions of candy. We donated 11 crates of candy and came in third for the schools collecting the most candy. Your children were so generous and we can not be more proud of their willingness to share with our troops.
Please remember that we have Monday off in observance of Veterans Day. This week our 4th grade hosted a panel of veterans that included Mrs. Julie Verret, Mr. Bill Johnson, Mr. Joe McCourt (Mrs. Hanlon’s father) and Mr. Steve Myers (Mrs. Holtzman’s father). Each Veteran shared their experiences and answered several questions. Thank you to our fourth grade teachers for providing this incredible experience for our students.
Fiske Turkey Stroll

The Student Council is at it again. On Wednesday, November 21st our Fiske Student Council will be hosting our fourth annual Fiske Turkey Stroll around the Fiske fields. The Student Council is asking students to bring one non-perishable food item to donate to the Wellesley Food Pantry. Collections should be brought to school on the morning of Turkey Stroll. These are some of the food items the food pantry is in most need of;

Canned salmon and canned sardines in oil

Canola or vegetable oil

Pasta sauce
-
Jams and jellies (especially non-grape)

Laundry detergent
-
Coffee
