Dear Families,
Fiske is an incredibly giving community. For the past two weeks we have been collecting gently used baseball equipment for children who would not otherwise be able to play baseball. This week I was contacted by WMS eighth grade student, Tyler Lack, who is the Wellesley representative for Project 351. Project 351 is a year long service program for students. As part of this project Tyler is collecting gently used clothing, footwear and coats for Cradles to Crayons. These items will be distributed to families in need throughout Massachusetts. Next week our Student Council members will be out in the morning during arrival to collect any donations you may have. Thank you for your help with this project.
The online auction opens today at 4pm!! If you have already registered for the event, you will receive an email from Greater Giving with online bidding instructions. The auction will be open for bidding until Friday, March 29th at 11:45pm.

Jacqueline Davies is coming to Fiske!!!
Thanks to the Fiske Creative arts Committee, Author Jacqueline Davies will be coming to Fiske on Wednesday, April 10th. All grades will attend an assembly with Ms. Davies who will share her writing techniques with the students. After the assembly, both third grade classrooms will participate in a workshop with Ms. Davies. The PTO has generously offered to purchase two books for each classroom. Book orders for students were sent home on Monday, March 18th and must be returned by Monday, March 25th.
Spring MCAS Dates
Third, Fourth and Fifth grade students will be taking the 2019 MCAS online. Please note the testing dates below and make every effort to have your student at school by 8:30 a.m. for each testing session. Make up dates will be arranged in the event that your child/children are absent from school on an assessment day.
