Dear Fiske Families,
Welcome to the 2019-2020 school year! The teachers and staff are excited to see the Fiske Falcons return to school on Wednesday, August 28th. Thank you to our amazing custodial staff Steve McHale, Marcos Costa and Andy Sanger for making the building shine for the return of the staff and students. We are looking forward to a wonderful 2019-2020 school year.
The parent portal will be open at 12:00 p.m. on August 5th. The portal will stay open until August 30th. It is very important that you update your contact information for each child, and review the annual notices. It is important for you to review and acknowledge reading the annual notices even if your contact information has not changed. As in the past, Home Room information for Grades K-8 will be available after you complete the parent portal forms for each student in your family. Grade 9-12 Schedules will be available on August 22 after parent portal forms are completed. As in prior years, you will not be receiving a class list due to security and privacy laws (see MGL 603 CMR 23.00 for more information).

Building on our current Kindergarten through fourth grade Spanish FLES program; fifth grade students will also be engaging in Spanish instruction for 25-30 minutes three times a week. Megi Cavo will continue to be our Spanish Teacher for grades 1-5.
Mark your calendars for the Fiske Wild West Round-Up on Saturday, September 21st from 10:00 am-2:00 pm. This is a wonderful family event where all are invited to join the fun. Volunteers are needed to make this a successful event so we encourage parents, guardians, friends and family to sign up to work a shift. Student Daily Dismissal Form/Change of Dismissal Forms
On the Fiske website you will be able to download a Daily Dismissal Form that is listed under “Back to School Packet.”. Please fill this form out and return it on the first day of school. This form lets your child’s teacher know how he/she will be going home on a regular basis each day of the week.
A pad of Change of Dismissal slips will be sent home with each child on the first day of school. If for any reason your child’s dismissal is changing for a day, please fill out a change form and send it in with your child so that his/her teacher and the office are informed.
Lunch Account Information
To set up your child’s lunch account please visit:

Free/Reduced Lunch Forms
To find Wellesley Public Schools free/reduced lunch forms please visit http://www.wellesley.k12.ma.us/district/business-office/pages/financial-assistance-information and click on the application form. If you do not have access to a computer please call the Fiske office and a hard copy will be sent to you.
Parent Volunteer Forms
